Your Role and Responsibilities
As a software developer you will design and develop the features of core IBM cloud software, IBM CloudPak for Waston AIOps. You will join server foundation squad to develop foundation services, e.g. the Kong API Gateway, of CouldPak for Waston AIOps. The role will join the fantastic journey to design, develop the cloud software, get the knowledge on Cloud Management domain, build hands-on experience on leading Cloud technologies, such as Kubernetes, Docker, Openshift, ArgoCD, ELK, Kafka, Crossplane, etc.,
Research the new cloud technologies
design the new features for CloudPak for Waston AIOps
Develop the code for CloudPak for Waston AIOps
Team work with developers in other countries
Fix code defects of owned components and response customer ticket
Playback the workouts on product meetings.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

6+ Cloud Software development experiences
Strong software development skills on one or more languages of Golang, NodeJS, Java, Python, LUA, Shell, etc.
Rich experiences on DevOps methodologies and tools, including Git, Jenkins, or similar, GitOps tools,
Rich knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, Operator, Helm charts, Micro-serivces architecture, crossplane, ArgoCD, etc..
Good communication skills, team player and strong willing to improve;
Good written English and fluent oral English.
Knowledge on popular runtimes , such as Liberty, Sprint Boot etc.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Written and Oral Chinese Mandarin is a plus
Understand GitOps tools
Know front end UI technologies
Experiences on APM software, e.g. Instana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, New Relics, etc
