Here’s how your day would look like:
Develop tools and toolchains that create a dynamic, ever-changing game experience

Develop tools to manage administrative needs of highly available game services

Implement security best practices to keep game data secure and prevent cheating

Work with designers, engineering, and production teams to achieve goals

Apply deployment and troubleshooting strategies that minimize development effort and maximize uptime

Who fits the bill:
Technical, hands-on experience building web services

Knowledge of Java 11 (Multi-threading, Non-blocking IO, Completable Future)

Familiarity with gRPC and/or RESTful API

Experience in JavaScript and/or TypeScript and Node JS (npm, jest, express)

Building front-end applications with React (preferable) or Angular

Experience with Python

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to identify and resolve problems in complex systems and workflows

Highly motivated self-starter; capable of operating with autonomy

Driven to continuously learn new technical skills and best practices

Preferred skills:
Experience using Spring Framework (Beans configuration with annotations, Security, Spring Boot)

Experience using containers like Docker and deploying code to cloud platforms like AWS, Google or private cloud

Experience with one or more of: NoSQL DBs (DynamoDB, MongoDB, AWS DocumentDB), RDBMS (MySQL, Postgresql) and caches (Memcached or Redis)

Understanding of stable change management practices in a live service environment

Bonus skills:
Building serverless applications (Lambda, Serverless, AWS Amplify)

Infrastructure management with Terraform/CloudFormation/Puppet

Experience in any of C#/Kotlin/Go/C++
