Position Summary:
The role is to ensure good understanding of migration process and Talend tool (ETL tool).
Strong understanding MS SQL Scripting and Database Administration.
Good understanding in performance tuning of existing ETL processes using Talend.
Migration project’s experience is preferred.
Ready to learn new databases to perform migration executions .
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
Perform ETL executions for customers migrating to cloud.
Develop and Enhance ETL processes using Talend and SQL Scripting.
Ready to work outside standard business hours.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Self-motivated, self-directed, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Basic Qualifications:
Academics: MCA or BE/B.Tech
1-3 years of development experience on ETL processes using Talend
Experience in SQL Scripting, basic database design skills and application performance tuning
Database development knowledge – SQL Queries
Hands-on experience on data extraction, transformation and loading data from various sources like SQL Server / Flat files using Talend
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills of ETL application and their associated databases
Excellent communication skills
Quick learner, Go Getter attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Java and its application related issues is a plus.
Knowledge of databases like Postgres / OpenEdge is a plus.
Knowledge of Databases and its administration is a plus.
Knowledge of Development tooling (e.g. Jenkins, JIRA, GitHub) is a plus.
