Our Connect Technology teams are working on our new Connect platform, a unified, global, open data ecosystem powered by Microsoft Azure. Our clients around the world rely on Connect data and insights to innovate and grow.
As a Software Software Engineer, you’ll be part of a team of smart, highly skilled technologists who are passionate about learning and supporting cutting-edge technologies such as Azure ML, Docker, Kubernetes, Jupyter, Spark and other Data Science tools. These technologies are deployed using DevOps pipelines leveraging Azure, Kubernetes, Jenkins and Bitbucket/Git.

Job Description

Analyzing clientuser requirements
Writing code that creates new programs that satisfy requirements
Writing code that develops existing programs to add features or make them more efficient
Testing code and making adjustments until programs work reliably as required
Identifying and correcting program bugs
Writing technical specifications and instructions
Ability working in an agile development environment and using agile tools

Qualifications

Expertise in programming languages – Basic Python knowledge is a must have.
Ability to code in pyspark , MapReduce, Hadoop, Datalake , HDInsight, Hql
3 + Working knowledge on Databricks, Notebook creation in pyspark.
3 + Worked in End-to-end loading and extraction pipeline building.
Working experience with Data management in Azure Datalake
Developing SQL databases and writing applications to interface with SQL database
Experience in Unix environments
Working knowledge with cloud components (VM, AKS, ASB, BLOB)
