Technology Expert to build Orchestration Platform to own & build Automation APIs, User Interface development, Orchestration Engine development and drive all aspects of Optum Technology infrastructure Automation while also creating a unified developer experience with a focus on the DevOps delivery model.
Primary Responsibilities:
Full stack end-to-end application and infrastructure development to Orchestrate Infrastructure, Compute, Network, Storage, Databases, Public & Private Cloud, Application automation
Collaborate with global automation platform teams to build and deliver common components/features where applicable
Facilitate Root Cause Analysis and drive solutions back into the engineering teams
Drive results through increasing reliability of product and failover capabilities
Grow and maintain knowledge of and leverage cutting edge IT industry / marketplace technologies and trends to ensure the automation platform is a highly available distributed system

Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with building, maintaining, and consuming distributed systems
5+ years of experience with Java, Python or Golang
3+ years of experience developing in containerized ecosystems – Docker/Kubernetes
3+ years of experience working across fully automated pipeline in a CI/CD ecosystem
3+ years of software Product development experience
3+ years of Agile and DevOps delivery model experience
Experience on SQLand NoSQL databases and data streaming technologies: PostgreSQL, Kafka etc.
Experience in working in a highly matrix organizations and work across multiple functional areas
Hands-on experience in Application and Infrastructure Automation Platform product line
Product mindset and experience in building large scale Infrastructure & Application automation products
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience building/developing infrastructure as code platforms tools like CFT, ARM and Terraform
Experience on building platforms/PaaS components
Data analysis/visualization/Monitoring tool experience: Splunk, Kibana, Elastic, Elastic Search
