Have you helped companies commericialize and monitize premium content within a mobile app? Have you worked within an Agile environment? This position may be for you!!!Monitizing app experienceThey are trying to monitize premium solutions – have loyal base of active users and they have an app to track workouts, app is redesigned and offer content for a subscriptionLooking how to after these people, app design, tracking these peoplePassion about Fitness – will help to make recommendations around commercialization and/or monitizationExperience: Motivates the people using the app for the premium subscriptionDoes content warrant subscription? If not, what do they need to add for premium levelB to C experience is requiredPrevious digital experience (solve problem and get someone to do something they didn’t want to do)Agile experience is required (Scrum is a plus)Product owners that only have dealt with internal stakeholders are not as ideal as this person will need to have a level of accountability towards product P&LWill also need to work with people in Singapore (Mobile development team is based there) – need to be comfortable with evening and early morning meetingsHours: Flexibility but most calls could be between 8-9am or 7-1030pm CTWill get involved in financials and driving ROI (not just internal product management)Fitness experience on mobile side – PlusExperience with Fitness apps – PlusTitle: Software Product Manager (Mobile Apps)The Software Product Manager – Mobile Apps will be responsible for executing against the strategic directives of maintaining and evolving the digital experience of thec client app, and additional apps within the client ecosystem to support our growing cardio and connected fitness portfolio.Reporting to the Senior Product Manager for Software, this position will work in a team environment interacting regularly with product managers, engineering teams and user experience design team.Primary Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day development activities and future roadmap of proprietary app and additional appsLead research efforts to develop roadmap of future enhancements targeted to home and health club exercisers.Work with Digital Marketing and eCommerce organization to develop promotional campaigns that drive subscription revenue.Work in a Product Pod environment consisting of Product, Design, Software, and QA to help drive backlog grooming, planning and vision refinement sessions.Transform requirements into feature specs /user stories and establish story acceptance criteria for the engineering team.Work alongside Design team to come up with ideal customer experience and user interface.Describe the product benefits in a way that helps marketing and sales reach new and existing customers.Describe the product functionality in a way that enables customer support agents to troubleshoot customer issues.Support creation of training materials (written and video) for new product features that can be used by sales, customer support and technical teams.Analyze usage trends and patterns to influence strategic direction.Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree; Computer Science or Engineering discipline preferred5+ years of mobile app software product management, marketing or engineering experienceKnowledgeable in Scrum and Agile software development a plusKnowledgeable in technologyStrong communication skills – you must enjoy interfacing across all levels of the company and across multiple disciplinesSelf-motivated and organized – Clients will need timely response through email or telephone on a daily basis.Excellent teamwork skillsProven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authorityProficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPointJob Types: Full-time, ContractSchedule:8 hour shiftAbility to commute/relocate:Franklin Park, IL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Application Question(s):What is your work Authorization ?Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
