Role Overview
This Solutions Architect position sits within the Pre-Sales team, reporting directly to the Head of the Pre-Sales division. A key aspect of the role is its oversight of the complete solution-generation process. This Solutions Architect/Pre-Sales Engineer will have ownership of the handover between various departments as solutions are managed. An eye for details, and an efficiency-focus is critical. Further, this role requires an aptitude for building engaged and invested partnerships with stakeholders across the business.
The successful candidate will adeptly demonstrate dual competencies; as both a comprehensively technical subject matter expert and as a skilled communicator, problem-solving with clients, and mobilising their team to a shared and singular goal.
Responsibilities
On the fly problem-solving to assist Sales to identify key client requirements
Formulate Statements of Work that meet all stakeholders’ expectations
Design premium solutions that achieve client satisfaction and business profitability
Liaise between Pre and Post Sales teams to ensure thorough handovers
Provide expert advice, as a subject matter leader, to clients. Innovate and evolve clients’ technology systems.
Contribute your insight to internal product development
Candidate Profile
Extensive experience in the IT industry, specifically a significant exposure to more complex projects
Demonstrable instances of solution design concerning:
Microsoft 365
Azure
AWS
App integration, data, infrastructure
Experience with data migration projects
Any qualifications in Microsoft, AWS, or networking are desirable
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills highly advantageous
Ambition and drive to push for best-practice processes, within a collaborative environment across the wider business
