Job Description : About our group:
CWS, Corporate Web services Group maintains and supports all the external internet-facing Web Applications at Seagate. We are looking for an AEM Developer who will help migrate our existing corporate sites from our existing CMS (Content Management Systems).
About the role – you will:Be responsible for developing and maintaining multiple external sites on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)Develop reusable integrations across sites while ensuring good governance practices are in place and standards are being followedParticipate in the implementation of AEM including design, definition, and development of AEM content type models, workflows, templates, and components, and use permissionsSetup and configure AEM authoring, publishing, and dispatcher environment with Adobe recommended best practicesIntegrate AEM with other internal endpointsWork closely with Managed Service Team or vendor to ensure sound practices regarding site architecture, performance and reliability, and content delivery are in placeAssist in deploying applications to Dev, QA, Production environments and migrationsFollow best practices for secure web programming and deployment. Adhere to internal best practices with respect to coding standards, unit test coverage, automation, and continuous integration
About you:You’re detail oriented, well organized with solid time management skills, and you have effective verbal and written communications abilitiesAbility to motivate people and instill ownership, reliability, teamwork, and commitment in the teamExcellent interpersonal skills to develop relationships with different teams and peers in the organizationAEM Certification is a plusYou are an expert and comfortable with front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular)
Your experience includes:Adobe AEM Development with strong Java/J2EE background in both front-end web design and AEM integrationAEM/CQ5 experience with 3+ full cycle AEM projects and at least one plus year in Web experienceExpertise in full stack development within AEMStrong experience with MSMExperience with integrating AEM with other productsSolid experience with AEM building blocks including templates, components, dialogs widgets and bundlesExperience with Java Content Repository (API) suite, Sling web framework and Apache Felix OSGi framework, and DAMExpert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks/libraries (jQuery, Grunt, Bootstrap etc.), and CSS preprocessing platforms (SASS)Experience with Continuous Integration and related tools (Jenkins/Cruise Control/Maven/GitHub)
