Role Description
Role Description: Sr. Lead Engineer
As a QA Engineer you will work as part of a team responsible for delivering high quality Networks software products for our client. Through the application of systematic test tools and processes you will help deliver reliable, innovative cloud infrastructure products. You will be part of a team that develops, modifies, and executes software test plans, analyzes, and writes test standards and procedures, maintains documentation of results, automates test cases and works closely with development engineers in resolution of problems. This position requires an individual who is creative, team-oriented, a quick learner and driven to produce results.
Role and Responsibilities
Understanding test requirements and formulation of test cases
Developing, implementing, and executing test plans
Contributing to test automation
Collecting comprehensive and relevant data for problem investigation
Participate in technical discussions.
Work closely with Development team to resolve/reproduce bugs
Work closely with customer support team to resolve customer issues
Willing to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team, department, and company goals.
Technical skills requirements
Background in QA including test planning, process, and QA methodology
Experience in software test planning, documentation and process improvement
Experience in large scale distributed system testing
Minimum 2 years of experience in Kubernetes and docker
Minimum 5 years of experience in TCP/IP and Networking
Experience in Performance and scalability testing
Must have programming experience in Python/Perl
Experience with agile development, continuous integration and automated testing
Must be able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic work environment
Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
Nice-to-have skills
OOPs concepts and GUI level programming
Linux or Shell scripting
Qualifications
BE/BTech or ME/MS/MTech or MCA with minimum 7 years of relevant experience
