Purpose of the Role:
Build, design and test our next generation infrastructure automation for switches, load balancers, DHCP and DNS.
Architect and design the next generation Load balancers using the Cloud open source tools and reduce the operating costs.
Create user space applications for our Linux operating system switch environment.
The ideal candidate will have a systems engineering background and an innovative mindset of using software to solve problems.
Partner with other infrastructure teams to automate cross team services.

Past Experience:
Minimum 6+ years of experience in testing large scale micro services based solutions.
Must have working experience with Ansible, Terraform, JMeter, Groovy Scripting, Jenkins scripting, building Kabbana dashboards.
Working experience in leading the team.
Hands-on experience in Bug reporting, tracking and delivering the best quality , well tested products.
Good understanding of Networking concepts, Cloud/Virtualization technologies.
Good to have working experience in automating Load balancers, DNS, DHCP networking technologies.

Academic Background:
Bachelors Degree in a related engineering field

System/Platform Domain Knowledge

Technical Skills/Capabilities:
10+ years of wide breath of engineering testing experience in networking OSI Stack, Cloud technologies, software testing of Load balacers, DNS/DHCP technologies.
10+ years’ experience working in Ansible, Terraform, JMeter, Groovy Scripting, Jenkins scripting.
Working knowledge of Linux(RedHat/Suse/Debian/Ubuntu/BSD)
Daily bug reporting, tracking and Identifying the bugs early in the stage and enable the team to ship very high quality product.

Knowledge of Platforms:
Working knowledge on Linux platforms, VMWare, private/public Cloud platforms.
Hands-on cloud technologies Kubernetes, Jenkins, Kafka, CI/CD pipelines etc.

Very good team player and someone who can technically lead the team.
Lead the team technically in delivering well testing solutions.
Good communication, collaboration and partnering skills with other teams.
Willingness to learn new technologies and exploit them to their optimal potential at the core of Software Engineering.
