About the role – you will:Work full time on projects at Pune in assisting Seagate Research Architect/leads in the area of most cutting-edge research in storage technologiesBe responsible innovating emerging technologies in AI/ML/DL for application development in storing data efficiently, which makes data flow performance energy efficiencyUse scientific knowledge and formal systems to find practical solutions to daily problems. This consists of working with direct complex operations geared toward gaining efficiency, productivity, and accuracyActively code in Python/C/C++Be responsible for the development of application stack using Machine Learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Caffe, TensorFlow, Keras, etc., on hardware platform indigenously developed at SRGDevelop various optimization and pruning techniques for AI/ML models to be used with FPGA ad GPU based systemsSupport development of new feature /functionality/customer issuesContribute in SW application development, bug fixing and improvement of Storage based productsContribute in enhancement of performance and stabilityEvaluate alternative approaches to assist in developing solutionsCollaborate with other development teams to ensure full integration of all parts of the systemSupport electronics software engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification and trouble-shooting functionsPerform operational test and fault isolation on software module or electronic sub-systems and equipment. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctionsActively code in Python/PyTorch/C/C++ and expected to be hands in contemporary AL/ML libraries and techniques
About you:Creative, independent and self-starter individual with excellent written and interpersonal communication who would be looking forward to work with and in a corporate set upGood in C/C++ and Python programming, debugging and working knowledge of Unix-based Operating SystemsExtensive Experience in application development, testing using AI/ML frameworks such as, Pytorch, Caffe, Tensorflow and Keras, etc. and its validation on FPGA and GPU based hardware platformsApproach to problem solving with positive and go-getter attitude is what we are looking for besides technical aptitudeKnowledge of processor architecture(ARM, RISC-V) is added plusMust be authorized to work in IndiaTeamwork is a core competency at Seagate, individual must be able to work and communicate effectively with a diverse group of engineers
Your experience includes:Graduate School/Doctoral Research level experience with innovative techniques in AI/MLExposure to storage domain and FPGA based systems is an added plus
