Responsibilities:

Ship well-tested, secure, reliable, and maintainable code within committed timelines that delights product users
Support fellow engineers through peer code reviews and constructive discussions that concern architecture, data model, and feature implementation decisions.
Understand the reasoning behind key product and design decisions and contribute good solutions to implementation and architecture discussions.
Be a great agile team member
Lead key initiatives to improve our product and team
Writing code!
White-boarding the benefits and disadvantages of various approaches to an architecture decision.
Testing initial prototypes with the product team to solicit feedback and iterate on the next version.
Reviewing your code, architecture, and style decisions with other engineers.
Work w/ the other team members on API contracts between client-side and backend API
Prototype and implement new UI/UX for features
Maintain and potentially update the current UI/UX in the product
Maintain, manage and improve the client-side build pipeline
Requirements:

5+ years of experience in software engineering
A background in front-end web development and/or API development.
Demonstrated competency in one or more of the following: JavaScript, TypeScript, React/Redux, AngularJS, or comparable JavaScript MVC framework.
Demonstrated competency in one or more of the following client-side build tool: Webpack, gulp, jspm
Have a good understanding of what good UX and UI design are.
Experienced in client-side framework/technologies before such as: React, AngularJS, jQuery, HTML, CSS
Experienced in using client-side build tools such as gulp, WebPack, JSPM, NodeJS, and other CLI is a plus
Understand how to get good performance on UI implementation (time to interaction, bundling, and splitting resources)
Some previous work portfolios would be great.
Good knowledge of how to use source control systems like git and GitHub.
