Cloudera is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Data Catalog team and help drive the development of Cloudera’s next-generation metadata management platform.
There is immense focus on building user-friendly experiences for the complicated workflows that dictate user activities in the security and governance space.
To be successful in this position you will need to have a deep interest in designing and implementing clean and captivating user experiences with contemporary frontend technologies and world-class engineering skills. You will have the opportunity for owning and developing end to end features for these experiences. You will also have the opportunity for developing reusable UI components that can be used by other members in the team. You can learn and influence clean, contemporary coding practices and be part of developing a great product.
Qualifications
A MS/BE/ Btech degree in computer science or equivalent experience in industry
Advanced full-stack capabilities for developing web applications with expertise in front end engineering technologies and frameworks including Javascript, Typescript, NodeJS, Angular or similar web frameworks, CSS, HTML
Strong programming language skills using Java or Scala.
5+ years of relevant hands-on software engineering experience doing design and development, including deployments to production environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with server side web application development
Familiarity with metadata management, data security and governance domain
Recognized contributions to open-source projects
