Under general supervision responsible for assisting with maintaining and implementing security administration and providing technical solutions for security systems to meet business needs.

Participate in security compliance assessments performed by internal and external teams. Oversight of remediation of any security non-compliances

Manage oversight of Governance, Risk and Compliance across internal and external stakeholders

Ensure information systems and processes adhere to company policies, standards and procedures

Independently conduct risk assessment activities for business solutions and for the suppliers.

Prepare and execute on information security education and awareness activities.

Communicate and provide guidance to engineering community on information security best practices and expectations.

Provide prompt, courteous and excellent service at an acceptable cost to all customers; operate in an ethical manner in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, the company’s Corporate Code of Ethics, employee handbook, applicable compliance and operations policies and procedures, and other policies of the company. Possess a high degree of integrity and actively cooperate and interact with all entities of the Principal Financial Group.
Good to have:
2-4 years of experience with a statically typed language like Java ,Python,R,.Net or C#
Participate in planning, implementation, and growth of the infrastructure on Azure Cloud and/or AWS
Experience with DevOps practices (TDD, CI, CD, etc.)
Planning, designing and developing cloud-based applications.
Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.
Deploying and debugging cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Employing exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they snowball into problems.
Hands on experience & strong understanding of object oriented design and programming
Experience/Interest in development practices like Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Pair Programming
Experience in developing web application and rest API using Spring boot
Experiencing in deploying applications in cloud platforms, preferable Azure or AWS
Nice to have:
Good understanding of design patterns
Someone who loves problem solving and enjoys learning !
Scripting experience using PowerShell, bash or Azure CLI.
Knowledge of PaaS offerings available in Cloud (Logic Apps, App Service, Azure Functions, Beanstalk, Lambda etc.)
Cloud Infrastructure Understanding IaaS (VM/EC2, Storage/S3)
Python
