Role Description
Role Description: STL – Python Cloud

As a Python-Cloud STL at the Incedo Cyber Security Center of Excellence in Pune you will be working on the products and solutions in the domain of cyber security providing fundamental security controls for a leading cyber security firm in USA (Tripwire). Tripwire delivers advanced threat protection, security and compliance solutions, enabling enterprises, government agencies and service providers to confidently detect, prevent and respond to cybersecurity threats to their business.

Role and responsibilities

This position is for a Sr technical lead for SaaS group. Working as part of a team you would be responsible for:

Own design and architecture of Python/Django backend & React UI front end for Cyber Security product
Ensure smooth delivery & customer KPI compliances for timeline, quality, and team velocity
Own planning, delivery, code reviews and growth of SaaS scrum teams.
Work in agile scrum-based environment with dynamic requirement and delivery model
Regular interaction with TPM and PO team on requirement, scope, and roadmap planning
Owning best practices, implementation of quality standards, PR & code reviews
Working in collaboration with engineers & architects in US & India
Drive scrum ceremonies, retrospective and velocity with scrum master and PO teams
Reporting status update, quality metrics and KPI deliverables

Technical skills requirements

The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in,

8+ years of overall IT experience with at least 4+ years of strong experience in cloud application development.
Architectural, design and development experience of Cloud and SaaS applications
Hands on deep expertise on Python, Python Web, Django and React JS
Experience working with SQL Databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL
Experience with designing and building production grade solutions using AWS services such as ECS, EKS, ELB, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, IAM, Cognito etc.
Expertise in loosely coupled design, Micro-services development, message queues and containerized applications deployment using technologies like RESTful services and Docker
Good hands-on experience with Linux
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to interface well with externally facing departments and directly with customers
Desire to work in an agile team that strives to be great, is politely self-critical, and continuously improves
Effective working in a lightly structured environment, taking responsibility to helping to define requirements, rapidly prototype ideas and define multiple implementation options
Experience in secure coding practices and DevSecOps process with tools like SonarQube, jFrog Xray.

Qualifications

8+ years of work experience in Python web application development and devOps processes.
B.Tech., M.Tech. or MCA degree from a reputed university
