Visa People Technology team strives to create best-in-class solutions for Visa to grow, retain and attract talent around the globe. We are trusted advisors to Visa’s HR and Learning leaders to design and implement forward thinking technology solutions to meet Visa’s unique needs now and in the future. We have embarked on a major transformation journey. We will not follow the ‘traditional’ IT playbook of simply configuring packaged software and requiring our employees to accept the limitations of packaged software. We will leverage cloud-based vendor applications and custom software, to build a connected systems architecture, that is reliable, trusted, responsive, and always available. You will report to Senior Manager but will contribute to projects across the HR Technology landscape. You are a techno-functional expert who understands our HR business. You use your technical expertise to deliver new capabilities to our employees globally and make it easier for them get work done. You love to be hands-on, building solutions from the ground up. You might configure packaged applications like Workday, Smart Recruiters or ServiceNow where it fits the need, but you won’t stop there. You will consider all the technical capabilities in our tool kit to see if there are even better ways to solve the problem, that when delivered with quality and precision will delight our end users. You are ready to jump in and help in a variety of ways; helping manage a range of applications and an array of business needs. Essential Functions:Define/build technical solution concepts based on business requirementsCoordinate with third party vendors to implement new softwareConfigure functionality in packaged applications like Workday, ServiceNow or Smart RecruitersConvey solution details to all stakeholders with strong presentation skillsDetail functional specifications so that software engineers can build softwareEnsure quality as configuration promotes from non-prod to production environmentsStabilize new applications and sustain existing applicationsTroubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis on application/integration failuresEnsure applications comply with information security standardsPlug into various projects with minimal prior app specific experienceWork with partners to implement technical solutions like SSO and Cloud LoggingAnalyze data for discovering patterns or usage or history and trendsUnderstanding Business Requirements and Business modeling
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
6 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 4 years of work experience with an Advanced degree.HR Technology experience preferred – Workday, Smart Recruiters or ServiceNowUnderstand basic technical architecture (data – application – UI), Understand of how applications are integrated and protectedUnderstand of project methodologies including Waterfall and AgileWorking knowledge of IT owned project deliverables like concept diagrams and functional specifications, Build & unit testing, Traceability, Quality assurance, Estimation, Deployment activities that ensure quality in productionTechnical troubleshooting capabilities, Excellent analytical skills and are creative problem solversRelated Tools Admin, Functional knowledge, Knowledge of what customizations/ configurations are availableUnderstanding of reporting best practices that drive positive reporting system performances, Experience leveraging Tableau and Power BI to build custom reports and dashboards, Ability to marry system best practices with reporting best practices, Design sustainable reporting solutions within package applications like Workday or ServiceNowWork with Cross functional teams as needed depending on business priorities
