Your Role and Responsibilities
System Administrators are the gatekeepers to the many systems that run our company and our clients. As a System Admin with Kyndryl, you will have the opportunity to provide high-value IT services and leverage our leading-edge technology portfolio in our global network. Your work has a direct impact on the day-to-day productivity of our business by ensuring integrity of, and access to, our most important resource: data.
As an CPS SME, you are responsible to provide L3 and L4 level technical support with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters.

Responsibilities

1) 24/7 Shift operation, working on Incident and Change Request
2) Troubleshooting Customer issue
3) Have Webex with L2/L3 PMR Support for advanced troubleshooting
4) Perform DR and Resiliency test
5) Perform real DR in times of outages
6) Troubleshoot on P1/P2/P3/P4 issue impacting customer
7) Create and Work on PMR
8) Vendor management for H/W replacement
9) Monitoring of CPS compute and storage
10) Support customer over webex
11) Performing health check
12) Mitigating Non Compliance (NCI)
13) Performing Sanity reboot
14) Maintaining PMR Tracker
15) Work on Capacity request
16) Performing migration of VM
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
1) Bachelor’s degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
2) 9+ years of relevant experience in a technical position (Support or System Administration).
3) 6+ years of experience in Linux/Unix
4) 5+ years of experience in VMware Vsphere
5) Knowledge of managing Cloud Pak System (CPS) or Pure Systems is an added advantage
6) Knowledge of Scripting python, power shell would be good
7) Strong customer focus
8) Strong multitasking skills
9) Self-starter who is excited about technology
10) Experience working with customers
11) Experience analysing, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for technical issues.
12) Experience of managing any other cloud private and public cloud
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
RHCSA Certification or LFCS Certification
VCP Certification
Azure/AWS/GCP Certification (not mandatory)
