Role Storage L2 Administrator
Location- Noida/ Hyderabad/ Pune
Shifts- US/ UK = Rotational
Exp- 4+ yrs relevant.
Description
Need a Storage admin who can provide Level 2 support for storage environment, which includes Netapp Storage – AFF,FAS,E series ,CS-S-SSP-4R , HP 3PAR , and be responsible for delivery of Storage operation services in sync with Backup and Restore Operations.
Manage and maintain the company’s storage-based systems and the deployment of these storage technologies
Work with existing programmers, System Administrators to optimize storage, Backup, Restore and Replication.
Ensure backup methods are in place and testing of FC LUNs.
Hands on experience on NetApp FAS, AFF and E series products.
Experience in Implementation and management HP 3PAR Storage Arrays.
Hands on experience on CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, Flashpool and Snapshot technologies.
Manage SAN storage, zoning, LUN sizing, storage pools, RAID implementations, and volume configuration and allocation activities.
Working experience on managing aggregate, volume, quota, mixed security style
In-depth knowledge on troubleshooting CIFS and NFS share issues.
ESX Environment, UCS Environment, Physical Servers, VMWare ESX Host Builds, vCenter Patching.
Strong knowledge on NetApp cluster and High Availability
Experience in upgrade/Firmware.
Troubleshooting skills on performance issue
Good Understanding on Implementation of NetApp FAS,AFF and E series.
Knowledge on data migration concepts and tools.
Participate in disaster recovery tests and disaster recovery planning for storage.
Conduct bottleneck evaluation to identify performance issues.

The candidate needs to have good knowledge on both HP 3PAR and Netapp (AFF,FAS,E series ,CS-S-SSP-4R) Storage.
Knowledge into other storage technologies is appreciated.
Remote support for managing storage controllers (SAN, NAS, RAID Policies)
Vendor recommended standard patching & Storage Version upgrade
Switch management – Core & Edge (Zoning, World wide Names (WWNs), & connections)
Remote support for managing zoning, LUN masking, aliasing
Remote backup management including BCV, Mirroring, Replication strategy & Vaulting.
Storage performance troubleshooting/ tuning
Storage reporting via tool for all data center locations to observe latency & performance counters
Creation, removal, scheduling, execution, monitoring and management of Aggregates, volumes and their snapshot jobs as per defined standards.
Coordinating disk fail or Hardware issues with Controller vendor
Performance tuning via ISL trucking , VLAN tuning & Setting up FC interfaces
Setting up & management of Storage Switches.
Configuring CIFS & integrating with AD
