Job Description : We are undergoing an exciting transformation of our Talent Acquisition team, and have a number of brand new roles to join our team!

We are looking for two Talent Sourcers to work roles across our exciting portfolio of regional and national titles. In this role, you might find yourself on the hunt for our next Showbiz Writer for OK! Magazine, or a journalist to write all about Manchester United. You will work on some absolutely brilliant roles, hiring people who will write content that millions of people are digesting every single month.
This role is home working and we are therefore open to candidates based across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
What will the role involve?
As a Talent Sourcer for Editorial, you will support the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner for Editorial to reduce time to hire, and support initiatives to attract diverse talent to our editorial roles – via internal hiring, D&I initiatives, referrals, entry level hiring and creating talent pipelines. This role will deliver a first class candidate experience, helping to promote the view of our brand in the external market.
You will own your caseload of vacancies and manage the hiring cycle from beginning to end, interacting with potential candidates on social media and professional networks. You will create compelling ad copy, and work with the hiring manager to really sell the individual news brand and Reach as an employer of choice.
You will drive a ‘Candidates as Ambassadors’ culture at Reach, and take time to really understand the candidate market and entry routes into the industry. You will support the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner on D&I initiatives to support attracting and retaining diverse talent in the editorial space.
D&I is always part of the conversation when hiring. You will be passionate about the D&I initiatives in place and committed to attracting, hiring and retaining diverse talent.
The Ideal Candidate
Who are we looking for?
You will have worked as a Talent Acquisition specialist either in the creative industries, or with the added experience of writing (through qualifications or a blog) – We are looking for individuals passionate about recruiting in the media industry! You will enjoy delivering a high quality candidate and hiring manager experience, and making the hiring as easy and seamless as possible. You will bring ideas on how to attract talent outside of traditional methods and a passion for D&I.
You will be a good writer, able to create compelling ad copy with ease, and ideally a love of Twitter! You will be a great communicator, naturally inquisitive and committed to delivering positive change. You will understand that recruitment transformations provide an opportunity to really make your mark, but they often come with short term pain! You will be driven to create positive change, creating a brilliant hiring experience for all parties that interact with the Talent Acquisition team at Reach.
