Position Summary
The SaaS Technical Architect position is a client-facing role requiring both technical and business/marketing knowledge. Consultant works to gather & understand Client’s unique business requirements and provide expert guidance by sharing best practices & recommendations to our Customer/Implementation Partners in building customized solutions to meet their business needs through Adobe SaaS (Analytics, Target or Audience Manager) platform. Consultant also performs quality checks to ensure that the implementation cycle follows industry best practices, flag all technical issues and highlight risks when they arise. Consultant works with Clients to strategize and drive business value from the platform and enable them to adopt & scale-up in their maturity roadmap. It is a technical advisory role and requires a solid technical acumen in Digital Marketing strategy and involves constant customer interaction.
What you’ll do
Be a recognized expert/SME for Adobe internal and regional stakeholders.
Act as a lead point of contact for any Customer engagement.
Build trusted advisor relationships with our Clients & Implementation Partners.
Ability to exhibit value to Customers & Partners adopt and scale in their maturity roadmap.
Become an expert in integrating Experience Cloud products and the methods by which they can be used to effectively to optimize online businesses.
Gain an in-depth knowledge of a client’s website architecture, online business model, and online marketing & optimization strategy.
Gather, document and help form/guide client business requirements, key performance indicators and other functional and/or technical requirements.
Review customized solution design and implementation strategies.
Validate implementation and follow through on issues until resolved.
Troubleshoot and reproduce the technical problems reported by customers and define workarounds.
Identify gaps, highlight risks and document feedback or recommendations basis your assessments in standard artifacts with best-in class quality.
Communicate proactively and effectively to Customer/Implementation Partner teams on assessments & recommendations throughout project life cycle.
Provide advisory to key stakeholders with industry best practices & recommendations throughout the implementation process.
Assist Customer/Partners in defining test plan, setting-up A/B tests, multi-variate tests and analyzing the test results.
Light manipulation of JavaScript as needed to customize web analytic solutions.
Assist with enablement & desk-side coaching to Customer/Partners on product features, ad-hoc technical queries and future maturity roadmap.
Interact frequently with Client/Implementation Partner teams – marketers, analysts, web developers, and C-level executives, mainly via conference calls or emails.
Manage Customer expectations appropriately and keep projects on schedule and within scope.
Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
Work and collaborate with Adobe internal teams and Client/Implementation Partners.
Technical writing and PowerPoint presentation creation
Additional Responsibilities:
Enable existing/new team members with new product features, project-based learnings and support with any issues or queries.
Proactively maintain the highest level of technical expertise by staying current on Adobe DX technologies and solutions through internally and externally available learning opportunities as well as self-study.
Create and/or leverage strong processes and standardized templates to deliver better quality and timely delivery.
What you need to succeed
Must have –
10-12 yrs. of overall hands-on experience as a client-facing consultant, working in Digital Analytics & Optimization, DMP implementations or a related field.
Strong-to-advanced JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, CSS/HTML and Web Services/APIs skills.
Exposure to any SPA framework – Angular, ReactJS etc.
Strong exposure in campaign optimization, defining test goals, ROI, tracking metrics, sample size etc.
Strong knowledge of server-side forwarding, ID syncs, data imports etc.
Solid understanding of Display / Search Advertising concepts and strategies.
Solid understanding of data reporting and digital advertising best practices.
Strong experience with XML and DOM related technologies with knowledge of DOM manipulation and page load events.
Solid understanding of online marketing, tools and technology.
Strong experience with Tag management solutions, preferably Adobe Launch.
Solid understanding of general business models, concepts and strategies.
Familiarity with UI/UX and Mobile, W3C recommendations and their availability in common browsers.
Deep vertical industry experience (e.g., Retail, media, financial services, high tech, etc.)
Passion for the internet domain and use of technology to solve business problems.
Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills – both verbal and written.
Must be self-motivated, responsive, professional and dedicated to customer success.
Possess an innovative, problem-solving, and solutions-oriented mindset
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, be a team player, and manage change effectively.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science with equivalent work experience.
Special consideration given to –
Candidates in a client facing role.
Experienced working with one or more Adobe SaaS solution (Analytics, Target or Audience Manager) implementation using Adobe Launch or third-party Tag management platforms – Google Tag Manager, Tealium, Ensighten
Mobile, Video and OTT SDK implementation.
Adobe Audience Manager or similar DMP tools – Bluekai, Lotame, Krux, etc
Integration of one Adobe SaaS solution with other Adobe DX solutions.
Web/Mobile App development experience.
Experience presenting in front of various technical and business audiences.
