About the Role

We’re looking for a Technical Lead to join the exciting journey of StockX India.

What You do

Provide technical leadership & Build a very strong culture of quality and user experience. In other words, champion best software engineering practices in developing world-class user interfaces across the web and mobile applications.
Be a humble mentor and trusted advisor for engineers and others(UX, Product, Business).
Help build consensus by being open to a variety of viewpoints, aid in bridging a gap in case of a disagreement and help engineers to commit and move forward.
Collaborate with engineers, teach leads and others(UX, Product, Business) alike in a geographically distributed organization to build front-end solutions that deliver the best customer experience.Basically a person with exceptional skill in influencing without authority.
Synthesize your decisions and designs into very detailed, clear and structured written specs.
Design, build, and evolve front-end experiences across StockX web and mobile applications used by millions of StockX customers worldwide.
Work effectively in an agile development process.
Constantly evolve the user experience to identify bottlenecks across StockX web and mobile applications and improve them.
Research and implement cutting-edge UI technologies and frameworks to enhance the current experience and developer velocity.
See the big picture and identify strategically important problems, inefficiencies or opportunities for meaningful improvements relentlessly.

Who You’ll Work With

You will have the privilege to work with members of the UX, Product, Business, Customer Service, and Other experience teams.
You will engage with the broader community at StockX. You will constantly look for ways to build relationships and partnerships that help you recruit and optimize your ability to deliver value

About You

You have a proven Minimum 2+ Years experience in leading 4+ engineers with overall 10+ years of Industry experience
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
You have hands-on experience in driving UI development from inception to deployment using JavaScript/Typescript, React, HTML5, CSS3/Sass with NodeJS / Express JS.
You have seen a lot of architecture and designs. You can anticipate future technical needs for the product and craft plans to realize them.
You get things done and never give up. You are driven and biased towards execution and delivery – taking on what needs to be done and owning it through to the end and beyond. You lead by example with your tenacity and extreme ownership ethic.
You are biased towards Lean and Agile principles and practices and ultimately drive towards business outcomes over output.
You love helping engineers develop new skills and advance in their careers.
You love experimenting with new technologies and frameworks that can improve the efficiency and productivity of the engineers
You are familiar with modern frontend monitoring practices(user interactions, error handling, single page applications, routing)
