Critical Skills:
8 -10 years of Testing experience
Experience in ETL testing, Data warehouse testing, Big Data / Hadoop testing
Expertise in SQL / Hive database querying skills and data analysis (Strongly recommended)
Experience in Big Data / Hadoop Automation testing
Able to Load and transform large sets of semi / structured / unstructured data
Experience in analyzing ETL mapping documents
Creating SQL scripts based ETL mapping documents to compare data outputs
Ability to create and execute strategies and test cases for applications that use ETL components.
Advanced level of expertise in Database testing with excellent PL SQL skills.
Data warehouse testing work experience in backend application primarily involving complex SQL queries will be required
Experience with automated testing tools
Preferred Skills:
Experience testing Waterfall / Agile Development Projects
Testing / Domain knowledge in retail domain is plus
Keeps abreast of current technology trends
Familiar with application development best practices
Understanding BDD and TDD will be added advantage in CICD mode
Expert in implementing structured test methods and processes in Performance
Has experience in planning and executing the performance testing for complex programs and/or big projects
Expert in performance Testing, test scripting with Web Performanace Load Tester (Optional), Neoload, HP Performance Center (Loadrunner) , JMeter testing tools
Ability to work as part of diverse team involving global stakeholders
Role: Test Lead
In general, responsible for determining the test strategy for System Testing & System Integration Test phases of the project
Responsible for drafting the detailed test plans for the ST and SIT phases based on the master test plan
Responsible for co-ordinating with other teams for necessary inputs (development team, infrastructure team, database team…)
Responsible for coordinating and supervising the test specialists who are responsible for preparing and executing the test scripts
Responsible for giving functional and technical guidance to test specialists
Responsible for ensuring test case preparation as per the functional requirements through defined metrics collection
Responsible for the preparation of high level test scenarios for the functions assigned to me on the project for a particular test phase
Responsible for review of test cases prepared by the test specialists
Responsible for identifying and usage of respective test tools based on functional / automation / regression / performance requirements
Responsible for updating the testing status to the Test manager
Set examples for junior test specialists and be able to coach them
Note: This position is based out of Hyderabad but on need basis person need to travel to Belgium
