DFX team at NVIDIA works on groundbreaking innovations involving crafting creative solutions for DFT architecture, verification and post-silicon validation on some of the industry’s most complex semiconductor chips.
What you’ll be doing:
As part of the DFX team in Bangalore you will be responsible for chip level verification of High-Speed Test Access Mechanism (TAM) that can be used for Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) based testing, System Level Testing and In Field Testing. Responsibilities will include:
Development and review of the Test Plan.
Development of test environment, this will involve:
Creation/modification of the testbench.
Implementation of software/programming sequence.
Creation/integration of checkers and scoreboards from unit level UVM environment.
Resolution of compile and simulation errors.
Innovative optimizations to reduce simulation time.
Complex failure debug: Isolating design related failure by systematically identifying and eliminating issues related to testbench/programming sequence in close collaboration with unit verification engineers, logic designers and architects.
Close collaboration with emulation team to enable emulation and timely debug of full chip test cases.
What we need to see:
BS/MS from reputed institutions.
3+ years of experience in functional verification.
Proficiency in UVM.
Proficiency in code and functional coverage analysis.
Exhaustive full chip verification experience.
Exposure to PCIE protocol and PCIE verification (Transaction/Data Link layer).
Good working knowledge of assertions.
Strong automation/scripting skills (perl/tcl/python).
Strong problem-solving skills as well as amazing interpersonal and team building skills with proficiency in written and verbal communications.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience in verification of Direct Memory Access (DMA) controller.
Exposure to full chip verification with firmware/microcode.
Background with architectural and logic design.
Understanding of DFT.
Exposure to formal verification.
