Job Description : We are seeking a WordPress / PHP Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. Position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript). The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and the WordPress content management system. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is required.What You’ll Do: Implementing and troubleshooting WordPress themes and pluginsWork with third-party applications and APIsDiscussing and understanding project development requirements with clients and the teamManaging the website back-end including database and server integrationConducting website performance tests and implementing tools for monitoringTroubleshooting content issues and conducting WordPress training with clientsRequirements: At least two years experience in WordPress development or a related fieldAdvanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Knowledge of PHPProven WordPress development experience, either through employment and/or personal projectsExperience hosting and managing multiple sites using WPEngineExperience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applicationsExperience designing and developing responsive design websitesComfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.Ability to understand CSS changes and ramifications for consistent style across platforms and browsersAbility to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pagesProficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GitAttention to detail in regard to coding standards and code formattingExperience interacting with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)Experience with Bitbucket or GitHub repositories*Familiarity with ReactJS and/or DevOps experience is highly valuedAbility to commute/relocate: Wakad/ HinjewadiCOVID-19 considerations:We are working 100% remotely for the time being. We have an office that employees are welcome to work from, so long as they are fully vaccinated.
