QualiTest is looking for Senior Engineer -Manual Functional Testing-Mobile Networks in our Test Center in Bangalore, India.
Customer facing core telecom experience mandatory.
1. Mobile Core network testing experience in Telecom Industry working for a mobile service providers/ Equipment provider is preferred. (OSS experience would be a plus) – 4/5 2. IMS- EPC (packet core and Evolved Packet Core) testing experience-Protocol experience like SIP/Diameter etc. Knowledge/ experience in 5G – 3/5 3. CS (Circuit switching)- SMS and VAS (Value added services). Protocol experience MAP & ISUP 3/5
Requirements
Years of experience required: 4-7 Role As a Senior Test engineer using specialist technical skills where appropriate- responsible for producing the test plan for impacted systems and services within their remit; coordinating- planning- executing- and documenting test activities to help ensure that new and changed network technology services/systems meet requirements Responsibility: – Responsible for the integration plan- test specifications and scripts- test execution- defect management and the coordination of the environment design and deployment Independent in analyzing the testing requirements- perform requirements review- preparing test scenarios/ test cases- run test cases/ report & follow up on defects Maintain up to date test log covering defects- issues and concerns to be able to mitigate risks and issues Taking accountability for the verification of new or modified systems or services introduced in the live environment as part of the handover to operations Participate and contribute to the project & technical calls. Possess good written and oral communication Support Test manager in test planning activities Support and mentor the team members in technical and non-technical areas including new technologies- processes etc. Provide ideas for improvements and value adds Skills: – Mobile Core network experience Call flow analysis PC & EPC (packet core and Evolved Packet Core) IMS- understanding of LTE Packet Data architecture Protocol experience SIP/Diameter/ MAP/ ISUP CS (Circuit switching)- SMS and VAS (Value added services) Experience in network test automation preferably in mobile networks Knowledge in: – – 5G- IoT – Network Virtualisation/NFV Tools: – Wireshark SIPp Seagull HPALM Knowledge of test equipment from Spirent- IXIA and automation tools/ frameworks Qualification: – BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent in Electronics- Computing- Telecommunications
