Process Overview
Global Wholesale Banking Technology (GWBT) comprises of technology for Commercial, Corporate and Investment Banking Customers of Bank of America across the globe. The team works closely with the business and strategic partners to architect, design and develops applications for the Global Wholesale Banking Line of Business.
Job Description
Individual will be responsible for daily Production Support of JAVA/UNIX and SQL Based application
Responsibilities
Resolve Incidents as a part of Production Support team
Participate in triage calls for P1 , P2 & P3 High Incidents
Work on Service & Problem Tickets as and when required
Work on Report Requests and Research Requests
Work On Risk Deliverables
Participate in Automation projects and other Improvement Opportunities
Ability to perform root case analysis and impact analysis of issues
Identify and Log defects
Closely work with dev and testing teams on future releases and BUG fixes and provide them the required inputs from application support perspective.
Requirements
Education: Graduate
Certifications: Any
Exp Range: 5 – 8 years
Foundational Skills:
Well versed with Unix/Linux operating systems & shell scripting
Good knowledge on application servers like WebSphere, WebLogic, Apache Tomcat and JBoss
Well versed with Java / J2EE technologies. JSP/Servlets/EJB etc.
Well versed with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Struts, Angular JS, Node JS, Type Script, Java Script, HTML 2, CSS, JSON, JQuery, XML, AKKA, SCALA
Good Knowledge in IBM MQ, Autosys, NDM, FTP/SFTP
Well versed with SOAP Web Services. RESTful Web Services
Well versed with SQL/PLSQL. Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, DB2
Well versed with query tuning or query optimization
Desired Skills
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Good knowledge on indecent management, Problem management and change management
Flexible to work in different shifts
Knowledge on application architecture and load balancing
Knowledge on corporate Banking and payments domains
Knowledge on SWIFT
Knowledge on Agile
Knowledge on Kafka and AKKA Framework
