Job Description : Android DeveloperFast Lab Tech, NYCPart-time/Full-time RemoteWe are on the hunt for a skilled Android developer that can help our business grow exponentially in the digital world. The successful applicant will be responsible for the development and maintenance of application/s and integration with back-end services. We offer competitive rates in US dollars and flexibility of time as this job will be fully remote.ResponsibilitiesDesign and build applications for AndroidEnsure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applicationsCollaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new featuresIdentify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugsHelp maintain code quality, organization, and automatizationIntegration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logicWriting reusable, testable, and efficient codeDesign and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applicationsAble to attend all Team Meetings and facilitate if necessaryCreating app updates, including bug fixes and additional features, for releaseCollaborating with UI and UX Designers, as well as Software Testers, to ensure that our app is presentable and in perfect working orderResolve technical issues brought up by usersCompetenciesProficient with Objective-C or Swift, and Cocoa TouchProficiency in Java, Kotlin, or C++.Ability to use the Android Studio, including the Android SDK, with ease.Prior experience as an Android Developer will be advantageous.Excellent coding and proofreading skills.Top-notch teamwork and communication skills.Ability to manage your workload with minimal supervision.Unwavering curiosity.Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuningFamiliarity with cloud message APIs and push notificationsKnack for benchmarking and optimizationProficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, Mercurial or SVN)Familiarity with continuous integrationComfortable working in a *nix terminal (BSD, GNU/Linux, and/or macOS) a plusFamiliarity with version control best practices and workflows, particularly git and bitbucketFamiliarity with Atlassian products such as Jira and ConfluenceFamiliarity with agile methodologyRequirementsCandidate must possess a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalentMust have great english communication skills both written and verbalKnowledge of Agile Methodology1-3 years experience as an Android developer1-2 years of experience using: Git, GitLab/Bitbucket/GithubExperience with AWS or Serverless is highly desirableSalary: If this sounds like you, or if you would like to take on the challenge, please submit your CV/resume now!Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePart-time hours: 20-40 per weekPay: ₹30,000.00 – ₹50,000.00 per monthSchedule:Monday to FridayNight shiftEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Android Developer: 1 year (Required)Language:English (Required)
