Job Description:
Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Work with outside data sources and APIs
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Required Skills:
2-4 years in building Android applications
Development experience on Android Platform
Good coding skills in Core Java.
Good Understanding of OO programming and designs patterns like MVP, MVVM
Experience in Version Control Software – GIT
Experience on web services integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)
Familiarity with Android Studio
Familiarity with Push Notification
Experience in creating custom libraries
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Android GUI development, View, Widget, Activity Intent, Services and various android building blocks
Knowledge of latest Jet Pack Components like ViewModel, Live Data, Data Binding,
Experience in Unit, Regression, Functional, Performance Testing
Experience in payment gateways integration
Knowledge of SQLite database/Room
Deep understanding of Factory, Adapter, Observer, Singleton and other behaviour patterns
Hands on experience using RXJava , threads , schedulers , services
