Job Description : A mobile developer (Android) is responsible for translating code into user-friendly applications. They collaborate with internal teams to develop functional mobile applications while working in a fast-paced environment. Mobile developers develop application programming interfaces (APIs) to support mobile functionality while keeping up to date with terminology, concepts, and best practices for coding mobile apps. Essentially, mobile developers contribute to the design, testing, releasing, and support of the application. Mobile developers are generally employed by retailers, the healthcare sector, and the travel and tourism industry.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain the native mobile application on Android as per business use case
Create mockups and wireframes into high-quality code and Mobile UI.
Ensure high performance and reliability across all devices
Must have
Proficient in Android Studio.
Proficient in native and hybrid mobile frameworks such as React Native, Kotlin
Strong knowledge of mobile UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
Good to have
Knowledge of version control systems such as git
Exposure to cloud platforms and services such as AWS
