The Technical Specialist – Azure Engineer will work with a broad and diverse group of customers utilizing their skill set in designing and implementing Infrastructure solutions across Hybrid Cloud environments (Azure). The role will have access to technical oversight and mentorship to grow both their consultant and technical skills.
Responsibilities:
Participate/lead design workshops to capture design decisions based on customer requirements.
Execute new and existing migrations to Azure leveraging the Insight migration factory
Produce high-quality design, as-built, and handover documentation.
Work autonomously to deliver projects to our customers.
Actively contribute to healthy team culture and share what you learn with the community.
Experience Required:
Have hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:
Cloud and hybrid networking services within Azure.
Governance and Security cloud-native services within Azure.
Migration of VM workloads into Azure
Demonstrated project delivery, autonomy, and time management skills
Excellent communication & stakeholder engagement skills
Desired
Solid understanding of the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework
Experience in Azure Infrastructure based solutions including Azure File Sync, Windows Virtual Desktop, and Azure Migrate
Relevant Microsoft certifications (AZ-900, AZ-500, AZ-104, AZ-3030, AZ-304)
Understanding of scripting using Azure CLI and PowerShell
Experience with cloud automation and IaC templates deployments to Azure
