Job Description : Assistant AccountantWe are looking for an individual with strong book-keeping / accounting experience to join the team in our Bollington office.The individual will report to the Group Financial Controller and will be responsible for all aspects of financial processing and banking across 3 business units with a combined turnover of £3m.Full responsibility for: Processing purchase invoicesSupplier payment runsPayroll co-ordinationBank postingsBank reconciliationsAccruals & prepaymentsBalance sheet reconciliationsVAT ReturnsAssist withPreparation of monthly management and financial accounts in a timely mannerCash flow forecastingPlanning / budgetingRequired knowledge & experience: Essential Experience in a similar role.Experience of using Xero accounting softwareAdvanced Excel skills.The ability to work to a very high standard to meet tight deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsEnthusiasm and drive to take ownership of a roleDesirableBook-keeping / accounting qualificationJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 32-40 per weekSalary: £21,000.00-£22,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionLife insuranceOn-site parkingSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayEducation:A-Level or equivalent (preferred)Experience:accounting: 1 year (preferred)
