Job Description : A well established company in the language and translation sector for more than 10 years offers an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant, with some supervisory experience, to work in their South Manchester based office.Responsibilities: Preparation of Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Management AccountsManaging a Portfolio of Property Accounts and budgetsPreparing analysis as required for tax purposesPreparing and submitting VAT returnsSales invoice and credit note generationDaily bank reconciliationsBalance Sheet Reconciliations and analysisYear End Accounts supportAssisting with other ad-hoc tasks as requiredSkills & Requirements:Qualified Accountant or part qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA etc)Experience of preparing and posting month end journalsExperience of performing reconciliationsExcellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent time management and organisational skillsKnowledge of QuickBooks or Sage [preferred]A high level of computer literacy, including a good knowledge of Microsoft Office, and in particular ExcelBenefits28 days holidayOn-site parkingHybrid working arrangementCompany Pension schemeCareer progressionJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per yearBenefits:On-site parkingWork from homeSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:A-Level or equivalent (preferred)Experience:accounting: 2 years (preferred)Reference ID: AMA01
