The Singapore Operations team oversees, shapes and grows the business in Grab Singapore. The GrabFood (Planning and Growth) team is a dynamic team working closely together with other business functions within Grabfood Singapore (part of Singapore’s Operations team) to drive business growth.
Get to know the Role
We are looking for a driven and analytical individual, who will be responsible for assisting the team with developing, communicating, executing, and managing strategic initiatives. He/she is expected to closely monitor business performance, collaborate on projects, and support the development of longer-term growth and profitability plans.
To succeed in this role, one would need to possess intellectual rigor, independence, motivation, and adaptability.
The Day-to-Day Activities
Support planning, launch, and growth of high impact strategic initiatives, including research, project/stakeholder management, and conducting analyses to enable data-driven decision-making
Business planning and ability to construct simple models pertaining to the business case; Analysis and presentation of the business case, with quality benchmarks and relevant assumptions
Ensure strict adherence to project/launch timelines and ensure project/launch visibility to the company leadership
Support other business teams at various stages; for example, providing a fact base, structuring and helping with issue identification and solutioning, advising on the practicalities of implementation, or managing actual execution
Facilitate team meetings, ensuring the right topics are discussed, and that insight are communicated in the right fashion to derive actionable next steps
The Must-Haves
You possess Heart, Hunger, Honour and Humility (4H Grab principles)
2-4 years of experience working at top-tier consulting firms, and/or at leading regional or global tech and e-commerce firms
Familiar with spreadsheets, databases, project management, and deck preparation
Structured thought process and a strong analytical ability
Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to effectively work with other teams within Grab
Self-starter and independent learner focused on finding solutions, with a deep desire to excel and develop a career in a fast-growing tech company
Comfortable in a startup VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment
