General Summary
Are you passionate about Autonomous Driving Cars, Robotics and Image/Video processing? We are looking for highly motivated and committed software engineer for a role in the QRide team with strong technical acumen, strong background in C++, C, and Python development. You will work with a committed team of engineers to develop and deploy extraordinary features for the current and next generation self-driving cars.
As a staff engineer in the Qride team in Bangalore, you will be part of a highly collaborative worldwide team of experts with a passion for innovation and strong desire to deliver the best in class in Self Driving solutions.
We are looking for:
Knowledge in real-time operating systems.
Solid understanding of computer system architecture (core, cache, memory models, bus architecture, etc.)
Ability to derive, document, and present high-level system requirements from the associated detailed technology requirements.
Experience in middleware with protocols like – DDS, SOME/IP
System development in Android, Linux, or QNX.
Exposure to AI /ML frameworks.
Engineer with 12+yrs of industry experience required in one or more of the following areas:
Autonomous Driving / Robotics ROS,
Image, Video signal processing fundamentals
Application development with DDS, SOME/IP, ZMQ etc
Prior experience with AUTOSAR, ASPIC is a +.
Performance optimizations in the areas: CPUs, GPU, DDR, Sensor, Multimedia Media Benchmarks analysis
Exposure to heterogeneous computing and co-processor architecture
Deep understanding of ARM system, DSP and CPU architecture with Strong C/C++ working knowledge -Hypervisor architecture (Intel, ARM, AMD, etc.) is a plus –
Strong software development skills, C and C++ programming, problem analysis, and debugging skills.
Experience in Automotive Software development in QNX / Linux is a +.
Dedicated, fast to act and learn, and self-motivated with excellent analytical skills.
Excited to deploy your strong interpersonal skills.
12+ year experience with proven record in
Delivering state of the software solutions.
Hands on with C++ development and debugging.
Have a real passion for uncovering root causing bottlenecks and optimizing performance.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors – Computer Science, Bachelors – Engineering, Bachelors – Information Systems
Work Experiences:
5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience
2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
