Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities

Work with the customer directly to define and recommend solutions based on the business requirements.
Bring thought leadership in assessing and defining architecture and design solutions for cloud
Providing deep software development knowledge concerning cloud architecture, patterns, andblueprints.
Apply technical knowledge and insights to create a migration and modernization roadmap for CloudAdoption. Architect solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projectsand successful deployments.
Mentor cloud engineers & application teams on cloud adoption
Evaluate and propose new cloud technologies suited for business solutions.
Assess existing applications and vendor products used to create a targeted roadmap for the cloud.
Ensure cyber security controls as required by standards are realized in the cloud architecture and design.
Ensure the applications are designed to meet the standards on resiliency and recovery and other non-functional requirements.
Define best engineering practices through solid design decisions, processes, and tools.
Introduce the automation (IaC) and best practices and guide cloud engineers.Technology Competencies
Knowledgeable in Azure core services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Database, Security)
Experience and understanding of large-scale application portfolios in enterprise-wide environments(including migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud)
Experience in software development practices like DevOps and CI/CD toolchains (i.e., Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure DevOps, GitHub, IDE’s). Preferred
Experience with cloud-native application and scalable architectures using Azure App Service, API management (RESTful APIs), serverless technologies, container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, Azure Kubernetes Service, GitHub, etc.), API management, microservice frameworks, SDKs, etc.
