Technical Expertise
Google BigQuery
Ingest, store, process, analyze, and explore/visualize data on the Google Cloud Platform
Work on data migrations and transformational projects, and with customers to design large-scale data processing systems
Develop data pipelines optimized for scaling, and troubleshoot potential platform challenges
Experience with developing software code in one or more languages such as Java and Python
Proficient with SQL
Experience designing and deploying large scale distributed data processing systems with one or more
technologies such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Hadoop, Spark,
HBase, Vertica, Netezza, Teradata, Tableau, Qlik or MicroStrategy
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to understand business needs
Experience in airflow-composer, pubsub, cloud datafflow
nice to have – experience in coding with Java or python, Proficient in SQL
Hadoop
Hadoop software engineer with experience designing and developing Java, Python, Scala, and Bash solutions, accelerators, and frameworks to improve cloud migration and operations
Experience with building cloud cost and performance, security, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation tools/solutions is required
This engineer will be responsible for designing and developing a variety of different Python/Scala/Java solutions that will either be used as new GCP services or will supplement existing GCP ser
Solution architecture, detail design documentation, SWDLC, Python, Scala, Java, shell scripting, Dataproc/EMR, BigQuery/Redshift, Composer/Airflow, Spark, Kafka, Kubernetes, Cloud Build, Proficient in SQL, Bigtable, Cloud Dataproc,
Experience with Relational Databases, NoSQL Databases and/or Big Data technologies (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, Spark, Hadoop, other Open Source
