Epson Australia has an exciting opportunity for someone who is a passionate leader to drive positive change of our business systems environment. We are looking for a person with strong systems skills, together with the ability to become an integral part of the business.
As the Business Systems Specialist you will work with a small team to develop and deliver systems strategy to help the business achieve its strategic plan and organisational goals.
Reporting to the MIS Manager and based at our A/NZ head office in Macquarie Park, Sydney, you will be engaged and positive, and contribute to workplace where everyone works to realise our established purpose, vision and objectives.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
Serve as thought leader for introducing or enhancing systems and technologies to automate and optimise efficiency and business productivity.
Contribute to the overall development of strategic direction of applications and associated infrastructure
Work with the business to critically evaluate current systems and processes. Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes across the business
Partner with cross functional teams to develop requirements and develop process(es) for new business initiatives and transformation projects.
Partner with cross functional teams to analyse and translate business requirements into system / process documentation. Ensure documentation communicates effectively and concisely.
Develop and implement management plans for every initiative / project.
Evaluate and communicate quality assurance and appropriateness of permissions of systems
Support inter-system integrations to ensure the integrity of business processes whilst pursuing automation and efficiency
Develop and delivery of monthly reports to evaluate and analyse efficiency and effectiveness of systems and processes
Develop relationships with partners for optimised systems integration, and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with reasoned recommendations
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Degree in related fields or equivalent professional experience
App specific qualifications is an advantage
At least 5 years experience in corporate, business and management required
Experience / knowledge of enterprise scale systems – ERP, CRM etc
Experience with BI, automation and business tools or apps
Experience in a sales, distribution, logistics or customer service business.
Ability to work with various stakeholders and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent listening skills
Logical and analytical thinker
Ability to articulate both verbally and in writing complex situations
Collaborative team player
