We are proud of all of our care team in the amazing service that they provide in the community, and they are the reason we have a great reputation as a company that goes above and beyond for the people we care for.At Anglian Care we provide comprehensive care support for the elderly in their own homes – therefore you will be required to have a valid UK driving license and a car, as you could be providing care to those who live in any of the areas that we cover: Benfleet, Basildon, Canvey Island, Wickford and Rayleigh.About the role: We provide dementia care, domiciliary care, elderly care and respite care services. On a day to day basis your duties will include:Assisting with personal hygiene.Preparing meals.Household chores.Administering medication.Accompanying clients on trips to the shops, doctors or days out.Pay and Shift patterns: Daytime shifts 7am-4pm or 7am-2pm.Evening shifts 4pm-10pm.You could go to many clients’ houses in one day – from half an hour to a few hours.High rates of pay between £10.20-£13.20 per hour.Part time: £10.20 day, £10.70 evening, £11.20 weekend day, £11.70 weekend evening.Full time: £10.70 day, £11.20 evening, £11.70 weekend day, £12.20 weekend evening.NHS uplift £2 per hour weekday, £1 per hour weekends.Benefits: Guaranteed contracted hours to ensure a reliable income on an agreed amount of hours per month.Parking permits if required.30p per mile paid for your travel between calls.Company vehicles available.Annual performance bonus.Early pay app – access 35% of your wages as soon as you complete a shift.Genuine career progression opportunities via our career pathway.Free NVQ enrolment or Care Certificate.28 days paid holiday (accrued).Unsung hero of the month awards.Paid hours for COVID vaccinations and regular testing.Refer a friend scheme.About you: While we are always looking to expand our team with knowledgeable care workers, previous experience is not a requirement to start your career with Anglian Care.
