Cloud and Network Services (CNS) is a leading Nokia business group that offers Network solutions on Core, Business and Enterprise segments, as well as Cloud solutions and Cognitive Services. Also act as a delivery channel of certain products from other business groups to enterprise customers. CNS will target growth by leveraging the industry transition to cloud-based delivery, network-as-a-service business models, and software-led value creation.
As Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) evolve their networks to Cloud and 5G, a high degree of automation is essential to support the business agility to capture the new potential B2B and IoT business while keeping their complex networks under control. Nokia Digital Operations enables CSPs in evolving their operations to better serve and align to the business needs by providing products and solutions for CNF/VNF lifecycle management, network resource and service orchestration as well as assurance.

In order to support the fast-growing business, Digital Operations (DO) Architecture team is looking for an architect to join the DO architecture team. This team focuses on overall architecture design, prototyping and supporting DO products including Nokia Orchestration Center (NOrC), Nokia Assurance Center (NAC), Unified Inventory (UIV), Nokia Cloud Operations Manager (NCOM) and FlowOne.

What you will learn and contribute to
As part of DO Architecture Team, you will:
Lead overall product cloud-native deployment design and define key principles in order to improve product deployment flexibility and reduce overall footprint
Drive any CaaS and PaaS deployment on both on-prem and public cloud environments
Define and design tooling to increase product deployment configurability and serviceability
Work with architects and stakeholders from products and R&D to collect use cases and requirements
Collaborate with Agile R&D Teams by following the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), acting as a professional advisor and mentor for them to ensure the architectural design can be properly implemented by R&D teams via technical readout, review sessions and other collaboration
Lead product deployment related discussions with customers

Your skills and experience
You have:
Deep understanding of cloud native software development as well as Day 1/2 operations
Feel equally comfortable architecting new software, defining processes to simplify application development, as well as designing deployment strategies
Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated tests for complex, cloud native distributed systems built on top of open source technologies
Experienced in OAM services such as Prometheus/Grafana, ElasticSearch/Kibana, KeyCloak, FluentD/FluentBit, Nginx, Service Mesh/Istio
Experienced in Ops side of DevOps, preferably in the area of application deployment and upgrade
Programming skills in at least 1 of the following programming languages: Go, Java, Scala, Python
Deep understanding and experienced in developing and deploying cloud-native application on K8S and following the best Helm-chart practice
Deep understanding in design products with availability, configurability, security, resilience and scalability
Proven communication and collaboration skills and ability to work within a team and cross-functional teams
Self-driven and with a curious mind

It would be nice if you also had:
Expertise in one or more public clouds such as AWS, GCP and Azure, and their managed services (e.g RDS, IAM, logging and monitoring)
Public cloud certifications (e.g AWS Solution Architect)
Have lead or been part of a public cloud deployment project
