Job Summary

Responsible for assisting and supporting the FIU Online Recruiting and Lead Nurturing Team by providing quality and efficient customer service educating prospective student leads on FIU Online fully-online programs. Additionally, the position is responsible for assisting the manager with development, analysis, and implementation of daily duties within the contact center.

Supports the recruiting and lead nurturing process by communicating with prospective students through a variety of communication channels in order to cultivate and enhance enrollment interest from the point of initial inquiry, submission of application through to enrollment (depending on assignment).
Responds to prospective student’s inquiries regarding program information, enrollment, registration and escalates when needed.
Works with the Recruiting and Lead Nurturing Team and managers to analyze all data with the goal of meeting metrics and increasing lead to application conversions.
Collaborates with the Enrollment and Recruitment Manager to effectively lead and guide the team in routine core functions of student recruitment, including enhancing recruitment outreach, documenting student contacts, and setting future appointments.
Works in close collaboration with other university-wide College Recruiters to manage prospective student lead-to-enrollment conversion and enrollment goals.
Participates in recruiting events and promotional activities such as call-a-thons, info sessions, virtual open houses, etc.
In collaboration with supervisor, suggests methods to improve area operations, efficiency and service to both staff and prospective students.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of relevant experience or a Master’s Degree.
Departmental Requirements

Ability to work late evenings based on weekly rotation schedule (Monday-Friday 1pm-9pm).

Experience working with students in an educational setting.
Experience with coaching and/or advising students.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience in a sales environment.
Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership and team-building skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse team members.
Knowledge of FERPA federal law
Knowledge of Salesforce
