We are now recruiting for a Commercial Business Manager to support the exciting mobilisation of a new customer.
Job description
The key purpose of a Commercial Business Manager is to support one particular banking customer to deliver profitable and sustainable growth for services. The Manager is responsible for providing dedicated, commercial, and financial decision support aligned to strategic and customer priorities, to win good business and improve shareholder value.
Key responsibilities
Ø Accountable for the accuracy of financial records, compliance, business financial plans and forecasts and mange month end processes including P&L and Balance Sheet management
Ø Support business leaders to deliver contractual obligations through identification of over and under delivery, performing root cause analysis, and making recommendations.
Ø Understand the value drivers of the business and provide guidance on contract / service performance including scenario planning, KPI analysis and benchmarking.
Ø Support the contract strategy through contractual change control notifications and liaison with the account management regarding reconciliation of spend and changes to service delivery, changes to buildings / assets / sites / locations / other changes.
Ø Support business leaders to deliver contractual obligations through identification of over and under delivery, performing root cause analysis, and making recommendations.
Ø Working closely with the account teams to ensure optimisation of processes and spend as well as an accurate and consistent approach to profitable growth.
Ø Develop customer relationships to support successful commercial and financial negotiations regarding variable revenue, rebids, and change notices. In addition, mange key contract deliverable / contractual financial commitments (e.g., reconciliations and reporting) for the client in line with the contract.
Ø Proactive identification, assessment, and management of financial and commercial risks

Professional and personal competencies/qualifications
Commercially qualified accountant (CA, CIMA, ACCA) or working towards with relevant experience.
