Job Description : Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycleDevelopment and maintenance of software applications and automation tools, scriptsWrite well designed, testable, efficient codeEnsure designs are in compliance with specificationsPrepare and produce releases of software componentsSupport continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural reviewTest software to ensure responsiveness and efficiencyTroubleshoot, debug and upgrade softwareWrite technical documentationIdentifying and analysing user and business requirementsPrioritizing, assigning and executing tasks throughout the software development life cycleDesign and develop the software architectureWrite effective APIs with VMware SDDC and Cloud solutionsReview, test and debug team members’ codeSchedule product releases with internal teams and stakeholdersDocument development phasesEnsure our applications are secure and up-to-date.

Technical Skills:
Languages: JavaScript frameworks is mandatory; Java and Python are appreciated.
Development Tools: Angular, JSON, RabbitMQ, Postman, REST API
Scripting: Bash/ Shell/ Powershell/ PowerCLI
Systems: Windows/Powershell, Linux/Bash
Databases: PostgreSQL
Agile: SCRUM Master
Requirements:6+ years’ experience, you should have at least 5 years of experience in development and maintenance of application and automation tools.Experience in software development life cycle key technologies and software architecturesExperience in software designing, building and testing Java based applicationsExperience in application development, as well as in automation tools in particular relating to the VMWARE cloud technologies.In-depth knowledge of languages (e.g. Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, Node.js)Experience and familiar with databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)Experience and familiar with use / concept of a “message broker” (e.g. RabbitMQ / Kafka)Experience and familiar with the DevOps / GIT and REST API concepts.Experience and familiar with SCRUM Master, Insure efficiency of development tooling (version controlling, code, doc, bug …) and coaching of new SCRUM membersExperience and familiar with integration & validation, manage release and version and integrate the SW components and interfaces with external services.Experience and familiar with project management to manage the project delivery with in time, budget, cost and quality.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Great attention to detail and an analytical mind.Degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
