We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist
In this role, you will:
Telecommunication Services – Tools and Testing platform team is responsible for the various tools used to manage the Telecom infrastructure. These are in general network management tools covering fault management , configuration management , performance management , inventory management , security management.
Telecoms infrastructure/services utilizing these tools are Network (Routers/Switch, Firewall, Proxies, Load Balancers, Name Resolution, VPNs etc.) , Telephony , Voice recording , Contact center , Trade floor , cloud based services etc.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of Consultant Specialist.
Principal Responsibilities
Lead the design, deployment, maintenance and service improvement of monitoring/logging of cloud based Telecoms services. The services may be based on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or on Amazon Web Services ( AWS) or Internal cloud.
Work with other Subject Matter Experts ( SMEs) to improve observability / monitoring of Telecoms infrastructure on premises as well as on public and internal cloud.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
University graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline
Hands on experience on GCP or AWS.
Strong programming skills on atleast one language. Python or Java preferred.
Good knowledge on Linux operating system and shell scripts.
Hands on experience with interfacing between systems using APIs.
Knowledge on cloud based monitoring of services.
Automation/Devops tools like Ansible , Jenkins,GitHub etc.
Any Programming certification
Cloud certification ( GCP or AWS )
General skills –
Excellent interpersonal, analytic and communication skills
Self-motivated, positive and flexible attitude with ability to work independently
Good team player with ability to work with other teams globally.
Occasional non-office hours will be involved.
Good command of English
