What you’ll do:
You will display foundational skills in writing content for digital products
You will follow established conventions in the brand style guide and design system
You will apply foundational skills to ensure consistent voice and tone in your product area
You will implement accessibility, inclusion, readability, and translation standards when crafting new content
You will structure product content in appropriate formats for the user need and business problem
You will design content solutions within the technical constraints of a system, page, or element
You will demonstrate an understanding of how the multi-disciplinary team works together to solve user problems
You will learn to think broadly and understand how, why and when policies/ processes are standardized and when they differ across the organization
You will demonstrate an understanding of the impacts and dependencies of content decisions across product flows and systems
You will demonstrate an understanding of how content scales at the product and platform level through UI frameworks, modularity, localization, and reuse
You will demonstrate an understanding of user-centered research and design practices
You will apply insights and recommendations from research to content strategy decisions
You will identify and explore themes based on user needs, wants, and problems
You will be objectively receptive and responsive to user feedback
You will clearly and confidently communicate decision-making rationale to team members and stakeholders
You will collect, process, and act constructively on feedback
You will consider the audience’s needs and context when designing solutions or presenting ideas
You will exhibit knowledge of the organization’s processes, objectives, and challenges and their impact on the business
You will leverage project metrics, as well as previous test data and user feedback, when crafting or proposing new content
You will identify opportunities to test content (A/B, usability, etc.) and participate in user studies
You will participate in heuristic analyses to identify content bugs for their feature areas
Who you are:
Bachelor’s in Design, English, Communications, Journalism, Information Systems degree or related field; or equivalent related professional experience
Able to audit, analyze, structure, create, and present content with minimal or no supervision. Work focuses primarily on content in the presentation layer vs. underlying systems
Developing skills in facilitation and storytelling
Capable in core skills including UX Writing, Content Audits and Analysis, Content Mapping and Modeling, Content Planning and Sourcing, Conversational Design, and Information Architecture.
