Your Role and Responsibilities
The role of the developer is both operational and strategic, participating in a DevOps culture. You will develop new tools from command line interfaces to web interfaces with cloud based backends and see them deployed and used.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Advanced working knowledge and experience with at least one of Python, Java, Javascript
Either you have contributed to operations of commercially available software or a modern cloud based IT or you have developed something yourself and run it in the cloud for some time
Experience with Github and team development
Experience with some front-end development framework or library such as React, Angular, Vue, etc
Experience with shell scripting
Proven ability to work independently, but seek counsel as necessary
English: fluent
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Working experience with at least one CI/CD platform
Experience in creating totally new projects from scratch
Experience with cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, or Cloud Foundry
Experience with Carbon Vue or React
Experience with Python Flask + Graphene
Experience in building Cloud Applications using APIs and Services
Experience with securing and scaling HTTP accessible services
Experienced in a highly regulated environment
Experience with Cloudant/noSQL
Front-end development experience with React
IBM Carbon or w3DS experience
Working knowledge of OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML or other authentication and authorization technologies
