The RoleThe successful applicant will work in an award-winning team and will be fully supported by the Payment and Account Resolutions Manager, and will strive to reduce arrears in line with targets, improving the company’s cash flow while at the same time ensuring all department procedures are followed.You will be required to undertake the following duties:Making outbound calls to customers in line with company procedureTaking inbound calls and dealing with customer queries promptly and efficientlyManaging a debt list portfolioNegotiating payment agreements with customers.Monitoring and working on system To Dos as required and in line with targets.Creating and registering new accountsDealing with internal and external third-party stakeholdersEnsuring that all debt management activities adhere to Regulatory Codes of Practice, Data Protection and in-house proceduresUpdating customer contacts on the in-house billing systemAny other adhoc duties as deemed appropriate by the Payment & Accounts Manager.The PersonTo be considered for this position applicants must have the following skills and experiences:3 GCSE’s (grade A-C to include Maths & English) or equivalent qualificationMinimum of 1 year’s relevant experience in a credit control role.A suitable place to work at home and good broadband connectionExperience in effective negotiation with customers in difficult situationsIT literate, particularly in MS OfficeApplicanst must live in Northern Ireland as this is not a remote working positionWhy this role?Option to work fully remote of hybrid working scheduleMinimum of 34 days annual leave per yearDedicated learning and development platformCar parkingSports and social club membershipExtensive wellbeing platform with weekly/monthly wellbeing eventsAnd many more!!!!Job Type: Full-timeContract length: 12 monthsSalary: Up to £25,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:Bonus schemeBenefits:Flexible scheduleSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayExperience:accounting: 1 year (required)credit control: 1 year (required)Application deadline: 21/03/2022Expected start date: 02/03/2022
