3+ years- work experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, Data Analyst or similar role .
Must have worked on Data warehousing projects and been involved in supporting data modeling activities as part of building the data warehouse.
Exposure to cloud integration/ cloud DWH implementation . Preferred Azure. ( Snowflake , Redshift, Azure Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Datawarehouse)
Exposure to NoSQL and Big Data concepts
Experience of MS-SQL server development
Data Ingestion supporting CSV, JSON, Parquet etc formats.
Experience of ETL Tools such as Custom Java/Python ETLs, Databricks, Spark etc. and Azure Data Factory.
Experience of working in Multivendor Cloud based application tailored environment.
Experience of working in loosely coupled system interaction using micro services.
Experience in Performance Tuning of ETL scripts to reduce the CPU time/load timing

Key responsibilities :
Providing technical and data leadership to the application development group, IT and the enterprise including being conversant with and cognizant of the future direction of systems, how that direction will impact the enterprise, and how future and current systems can be exploited for the benefit of the enterprise.
Collaborate with internal teams and management to devise a data strategy that addresses industry requirements
Build an inventory of data needed to implement the architecture
Identify and evaluate current data management technologies
Create a fluid, end-to-end vision for how data will flow through an organization
Develop data models for database structures
Design, document, construct and deploy database architectures and applications (e.g. large relational databases)
Implement measures to ensure data accuracy and accessibility
Constantly monitor, refine and report on the performance of data management systems
Meld new systems with existing warehouse structures
Produce and enforce database development standards
Maintain a corporate repository of all data architecture artifacts and procedures

Good communication skills, with a confident personality so that can gather requirement from onsite team as well as demonstrate the output to other members of the team.
Ability to communicate well to both technical and non-technical staff
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; Able to handle challenging situations and act appropriately.
Excellent learning skills; must learn and also guide other member of the team on their knowledge.
Should be a self-starter; Takes responsibility and ownership, and is self-driven.
Ability to work independently with little supervision as well as ability to work within a team
Good Team player; Commitment to high-quality output and service.
