Overview:
The Specialist, you will be partly or fully responsible for entire software development lifecycle.
Should have a great deal of professional experience in software development and a deep understanding of technology and should also be capable enough to effectively collaborate with other team members and collaborate with other Divisions in the Organization.
Strong understanding of System Engineering Approach, System Architecture and component Design.
Should be able to anticipate the performance bottlenecks and pre-optimize; leverage asynchronous programming, queuing, caching, logging, security and persistence when appropriate; Work independently and create robust solutions; Give a detail explanation of their choice in the solution and the pros and cons; Perform Risk management and most important of all they can communicate the peers and stakeholders.
May have to work in several concurrent projects using different agile methodologies in a fast-paced environment (start-up kind of environment).
Should be able to learn and quickly implement new technologies.

Essential Duties:
Common for All Roles:
Independent Contributor as well as Team Player.
Able to work with the customer (Divisions Product Owners/ Managers) directly.
Be more Customer Focused [Gain Customers Trust by focusing on customers needs (with constraints the customer have and by providing right feedback), being transparent, deliver as promised (with right quality and at right time)].
Should be able to operate with information at hand from the Customer and move on communicating the assumptions/ Risks to the Customer.
Excellent in communication and Email Etiquette.
Should be able to work on multiple projects, do internal planning based on dependencies and priority, and deliver (within capacity).
Knowledge on Azure Components (which are commonly used in our projects)/Resources/Cost/Logs/Monitoring and Alerts/Tagging Guidelines/ Min Security needs when opening the IP ranges/ports of a Resource.

Core Activities and Skills:
Creating Backend Services – Microservices using Java/Spring Boot, with Proper RegEx applied.
UI (Angular) – with proper RegEx applied.
PLSQL – RDBMS: MSSQL Server and Postgres Server in Creating Table Schemas, Writing Queries/ Stored Procs etc, indexing, normalizing, de-normalization.
Swagger Documentation (Open API) Adherence.
Following AAA Constraints – Authentication; Authorization and Auditability Compliance.
Creating high performing Services and Applications with proper memory management.
Analytical Thinking and able to diagnose on the issues/ debug independently and provide solutions.
Provide technical solutions [to improve maintainability of code and high performance] to build efficient systems using proven software design patterns.
Following proper naming conventions and Git Check in/Check out process, proper branching and merging of code, with successful git pipeline execution using CI.
And be able self-deploy/troubleshoot code packages into development environment with little or no support (with scripts).
Collaborate with other team members (Dev/Test/DevOps/Security) for merging code and evaluate new libraries being introduced into the code, maintain Bill of material (BOM) of new libraries introduced.
Adhering to Definition of Done [LLD – Low Level Design Documents, Clean Code principles – Exception Handling; Logging; Unit Testing/ Proper Unit Test code coverage; Fixing Security Vulnerabilities in the Code).
Identify and create reusable components from projects, which can be used a accelerators.
Should be willing to play multiple roles – Ex: Primary Role: Full Stack Application Developer; Secondary – DevOps.
Bring in Industry best practices and raise the bar from the base lined Industry Standard.
Additionally:
Should be able to create/support on Device packages and implement solutions in languages like Python /Java/C#
Willing to learn and work on multiple technologies – even creating mobile apps.
Experience:
3-8 Years of Prior Experience in Software and Application Development, building technical solutions to business problems.
Experience on building Microservices/Swagger/Git/Artifactory/Jira/Confluence
Experience on Agile techniques: TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing
Experience on Agile Methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/TDD)
Should be able to directly interface with Business Owners and communicate effectively
Need to work as Intrapreneur and consultant suggesting what is best for the Customer and the Business and enable our deliveries are inline with faster delivery to Market for the Business.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Be able to drive/display ownership/proactive behavior/ take calculated risks
Should be able to communicate effectively in English (Oral and Written) across a broad spectrum of cultural differences
