Job Description : Overview:
A minimum 4 yrs. of Relevant Experience in Data Warehouse,Data Migration and ETL Testing projects.Involved in base lining Test Scenarios, Test Cases and Test Scripts.Responsible for preparation Defect Report, Test Summary Reports and Defect MetricsDeveloped and validate complex SQL scriptsAbility to manage small teamStrong understanding of various testing cycles, release activities and team handling skillsDefine and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test statusExperience in analyzing transformations from DMS mapping documents and create SQL scriptsData mining and detailed data analysis on data warehousing systemsExecute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of data related projectsExperience with Database like SQL Server, My SQL, Mongo DB and MSBI tools like SSISResponsible for tracking defects in QC / ALM from validating the defect, assigning the defects to the development team and closing the defect after successful retesting.Conducted daily status calls during IT and UAT for test execution and defect trackingSkills: MongoDB, SQL Server 2008 / 2010, SAS, Teradata SQL Assistant, TOAD, SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX, Data Stage 8.5 / 9.1, Informatica, Python, Bigdata, Hadoop
Responsibilities:
Test preparation :
Analyze test specifications
Writing procedures
Test Exécution:
Execution of test requirements, procedures or scripts as appropriate
Basic Failure Analysis
Using the TRP tool (Test Problem Report) and assistance for test collection and analysis in the chosen tool.
Test report:
Documentation of results in protocols and test reports
Technical support at reporting level and failure analysis
Skills:
Degree in Engineering or equivalent (Mechanical or electrical) with relevant experience
You have good computer skills: MS Office, Analysis / KPI preparation;
Good written and oral communication skills;
Good problem-solving skills;
Experience:
Knowledge and experience in regards to testing approaches applied to databases, including ETL, stored procedures and schema testing
Experience in data migration projects
Experience with data management tools is a plus
