There is also a picturesque viewpoint over Poole Park and beyond within walking distance of The Grange.What is the role?Deputy Home Manager – £12.88 – Poole37.5 hours per week.Mainly Mon-Fri, but you will need to be flexible as some weekend working may be required.We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager to join our existing team here at The Grange in Poole. This would be the perfect role for a Senior Support worker looking to step up to a more senior post.The successful candidate’s main role will be to support the Service Manager in the day to day operation of the service, deputising as directed in their absence and to be responsible for the direct supervision & line management of senior, support and any other staff as required by the service.You will ideally have coordination experience in a residential care setting and good knowledge of CQC’s regulations and standards.In the absence of the Registered Manager, you will have responsibility for the overall management of the service.A commitment to continuous improvement is an expectation of the role to ensure services enhance quality of life for people receiving care and support from us.Previous management / supervisory experience (desirable)Ability to communicate effectively at all levelsMost importantly we are looking for someone who is passionate about residential services and who has the skills and knowledge to support the team to manage and develop the service.Ready to take the next step?
